Direct To Plate Printing
West Press is pleased to announce that we have installed the first Direct Imaging printing press in Southern Arizona.
Our Heidelberg Quickmaster DI is a highly automated four-unit, waterless printing press which links directly to our prepress system, eliminating the need for film, plates and all of the chemistry usage and disposal.
The DI is a short-run full-color print solution; it meets the market’s demand for high-quality printing with a shorter turnaround time. The DI’s production process is faster than that offered by traditional four-color printing process.
The DI is the most cost effective method to produce four-color pieces in the 500 - 10,000 range. |
